Medication Packaging

Brief:
A self-initiated brief influenced by the constant issues amongst family members with the small text on the boxes of medication. It needed to be clarified what kind of information should take priority being on the outside of the box and what should be on the inside.

Final Outcome:
My response to the brief is a series of packaging design changes which incorporated QR codes: that the consumer can use to access more information about the drug that they will/might be taking. Barcodes have been added for the medical professional to access patients’ medical diagnosis/history. This would help to reduce the amount of text on the box and increase the size and clarity of the typeface. This was challenging due to the complex names given to medical drugs and the overall sizes of the box.
